BRAES OF GLENLIVET 30
Up, up and further still… lies Braes of Glenlivet, the ‘remote distillery’.
Rarely seen, this is the first official Chivas Brothers’ bottling from one of the highest distilleries in Speyside.
Made with the purest water from the Preenie well, two miles deep in the hills; from the harshest and most uncompromising of Scottish elements, comes a smooth, balanced malt.
Braes of Glenlivet’s 30 year old rare release single malt was matured in American oak barrels and hogsheads. Individually numbered, each bottle is non-chill filtered and at natural cask strength. This whisky encapsulates the remote distillery’s signature tropical fruit profile with leading notes of mango and blackberry jam.
Tropical notes on the nose with aromas of mango and root ginger. Fruity flavours intensifying on the palate with juicy orange, blackberry jam and marzipan coming through, resulting in a long-lasting, sweet finish.
