Unveiling a unique collection of rare Single Malts.
A sweet and fruity single malt from Braes of Glenlivet, matured for a quarter of a century in a single first fill barrel before being bottled in June 2019 as part of the Secret Speyside collection.
BRAES OF GLENLIVET 25
Up, up and further still… lies Braes of Glenlivet, the ‘remote distillery’.
Rarely seen, this is the first official Chivas Brothers’ bottling from one of the highest distilleries in Speyside.
Made with the purest water from the Preenie well, two miles deep in the hills; from the harshest and most uncompromising of Scottish elements, comes a smooth, balanced malt.
Braes of Glenlivet’s 25 year old rare release single malt was matured in first fill American oak barrels. Individually numbered, each bottle is non-chill filtered and sits at 48% ABV. This whisky encapsulates the remote distillery’s signature tropical fruit profile with leading notes of ripe melon and sweet coconut.
Sweet notes on the nose with aromas of orange marmalade and ripe melon. Fruity flavours on the palate with apricot intermingled with sweet coconut and complemented by a long, spicy dry finish.
