Meaning ‘the original’ in Gaelic, A’bunadh Alba is made in homage to Aberlour’s founder, James Fleming. A’bunadh Alba is made only 1st fill American Oak barrels that previously held Bourbon whiskey to preserve the intense sweet flavours.

Sweet orchard fruit aromas of fresh green apple and juicy sweet pears complemented with delicate lavender honey, smooth vanilla cream and zesty sherbet lemon. An initial burst of citrus lemon zest and tangy grapefruit revealing rich all-butter shortbread and soft baked apples,followed by a hint of sweet sugared almonds. Smooth & sweet with a hint of toasted almonds.
